Slow Sex & Love Life was born from one observation : contemporary sexuality is saturated with noise. Quantified performance, applications, pornography, recipe-style advice sold by subscription. The body, however, waits for something else. Time. Attention. Presence.

Our magazine sits in the lineage of slow sex as Diana Richardson, Margot Anand and Esther Perel have thought it : another way of inhabiting one's intimacy. Not a method. Not a promise. An attention paid to what happens when we stop running.

Our editorial line

Six editorial pillars : mindful sexuality, slow sex, orgasmic meditation, couple rituals, the female body and pleasure, intimate communication. And a magazine that develops them through stories, portraits and investigations.

What we are not

  • A coaching or therapy site. We sell nothing.
  • An affiliate of any organisation. We treat orgasmic meditation as a cultural and editorial current, with no link to OneTaste or Nicole Daedone.
  • A magazine of generic advice. Each text is written for a singular reader, not for a marketing target.

Our sources

We cite the voices that seem most solid and serious to us : Slow Sex by Diana Richardson, Mating in Captivity by Esther Perel, The Art of Sexual Ecstasy by Margot Anand, the New York Times investigations, the academic mindfulness research published in JAMA Psychiatry.

Bilingual

The magazine appears in French and English. Part of our editorial table of contents is translated : Version francaise.
